Yamakatsu 山勝
YAMAKATSU 山勝
Yamakatsu (山勝) card sets from the 90s tend to have oversized cards. However stickers are usually a little bit smaller than standard trading cards. I know about few different names of these cards (Tanzaku Seal, DX Prism Pro, Pose Promide, DX Promide, Long Promide, Pose Seal).
Tanzaku
They are regular sized sticker cards. They were sold out in pull packs like many other Sailor Moon trading cards. The each set includes 36 or 40 regulars and the same quantity of foils. There are prisms for the corresponding regulars. All cards are unnumbered. I know about three different types of Yamakatsu foil cards: Stripes Foils, Dots Foils, and Circles Foils. I was told that only young children had been collecting them in Japan. The japanese card collectors do not pay any attention to obtain them.
DX Prism Pro
They were sold in pull packs and the "Prism Pro" name comes from the kana on the package. They are about the same size as Amada Bromide cards with rounded corners. The front of each card is glittery. A small eclipse with the words "Sailor Power" and a power level is usually near the top and a text bubble is off to one side of each card. The cell art is embellished with small roses of various colors. The company's logo does not appear on the cards, only the individual pocket and outer package (three mountain peaks). They are unnumbered, and the back of each card has a variant of a design from the front of another card.
Pose Promide
Pose Promide cards are regular sized trading cards with Q numbers. The middle images on each card can be punched out. The same image is on the same card whether it is regular or prismatic. In other words, card #10 regular will look like card #10 prismatic except for the prism effect.
DX Promide
These cards are very slippery PVC cards. The surface of each card can be easily scratched. The size is smiliar to Bromide DX cards.
Long Promide
They are a little oversized cardboard bookmarks with glittery surface.
Pose Seal
Pose Seals are the rarest Sailor Moon Yamakatsu card stickers. Yamakatsu produced only two different. The first set is focused on R and the other on S season.
