MARUSHŌ 丸昌

Marushō (丸昌, also known by its Kunrei-shiki romanisation: Marusyô/Marsyo): This printing company is one of the main manufacturers of trading cards in Japan. They used to produce mini cards and cards in heart shape. Marusho trading cards were sold in pull packs while their recent trading cards are being sold in foil packs. The merchandise lines include Super-Mini Cards, Heart DE, Heart Ribbon and Real Seal (embossed) sticker cards. Completing Marushō sets is nearly impossible because there are prisms for the corresponding regulars. You would have to buy about 20 brand new pull packs to make a complete set. All special cards printed by Marushō are cardboard type (hard).

Cardboard Prisms

The term "cardboard" is used by collectors to refer to non-sticker prismatic cards. They were released in Deluxe Packs, Attekoland Packs, Album Packs and Game Packs. Many card collectors just call them "hard" prisms.

Pull Pack

A booklet of individually wrapped trading cards or stickers, bound by a cord (that acts as a pack hanger). Envelopes from these sets are usually printed with artwork from the series they are for. Each pull pack contained 34 random cards (30+3+1).
