Banpresto Co., Ltd. (株式会社バンプレスト, Kabushiki Gaisha Banpuresuto) is a Japanese game development firm. It has been partially owned by Bandai since 1989, when it gained its current name. The company was purchased by and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Bandai in March 2006. They manufactured several varieties of mechanical prize-winning Sailor Moon games. Banpresto cards could be oversized (Banpresto Jumbo), regular size, or miniature ("Twin Character" cards). Jumbo Banpresto cards are sometimes considered a type of shitajiki (though they are made of cardboard, while shitajiki are generally plastic).
